This song is about how I miss my old high school friends so much. I've drifted apart from all of my close high school pals over the past two years and it has always bothered me. Although in 2014 it was very much needed for me meeting all of the great new faces that I did, I have become so distant from those that I grew up with. Since I finished high school, I noticed my interactions with my high school friends was growing very minimal. It wasn't until 2014 that I met so many new people that have truly had a positive impact on my life. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I am very grateful for every new friend I've met since 2014, but it also sucks gradually seeing people become less and less relevant in your life.
